moeraki boulders

these photos were taken in new zealand. the boulders are called ‘moeraki boulders’ and they are located on the koekohe beach on the coast of otago. according to legends of local māori’s, these boulders are remnants of gourds and sweet potatoes, which were flushed from the wreck of the legendary arai-te-uru canoe to the coast. for the images i have chosen a long shutter speed.
